New Porsche 918 and racing prototype to make its debut at Detroit

Rumors are that Porsche are preparing a major announcement to kick-start the mood for 2011.
Will it be the 918 Spyder concept ready for production, a prototype ready to race at this year's 24 hour of Nurburging or the 918 Coupe or all of the above.

It’s official: McLaren has confirmed its return to GT racing, 15 years after the McLaren F1 GTR won the 24 Heures du Mans on its debut.

Munich, 24 November 2010. After more than 12 uninterrupted years, a changeover at the head of BMW Motorsport is in the offing. On 30 June 2011, BMW Motorsport Director Mario Theissen will pass on the baton to his successor Jens Marquardt and retire from his post. 43-year-old Marquardt will join the company on 1 January 2011, going dual with Theissen for the first six months of the year to familiarise himself with his new task. This will ensure the seamless execution of the 2011 racing programme and preparations for the 2012 DTM project.

On the occasion of the DTM race in Shanghai, Audi presented the concept of a GT4 car based on the Audi TT. The TT, developed by the Technical Development and the Production divisions plus quattro GmbH, is intended to extend Audi's new modular customer sport program from 2012 forward.
2011 Aston Martin GT4 revealed

Aston Martin Racing has launched a new Vantage GT4 for 2011. The new V8 engined racing car takes design inspiration from Aston Martin's V12 Vantage road car, giving it enhanced aerodynamics and increased downforce. It also has a remapped 4.7 litre engine offering increased levels of power and torque.
