Audi presents GT4 concept

On the occasion of the DTM race in Shanghai, Audi presented the concept of a GT4 car based on the Audi TT. The TT, developed by the Technical Development and the Production divisions plus quattro GmbH, is intended to extend Audi's new modular customer sport program from 2012 forward.

 

Aston Martin Vantage GT4 Revised for 2011

Aston Martin Racing has launched a new Vantage GT4 for 2011. The new V8 engined racing car takes design inspiration from Aston Martin's V12 Vantage road car, giving it enhanced aerodynamics and increased downforce. It also has a remapped 4.7 litre engine offering increased levels of power and torque.

At this year’s Los Angeles Design Challenge, the designers from the Mercedes-Benz Advanced Design Studios in Carlsbad, California, surprised everyone with a revolutionary vision. Taking their inspiration from nature, they designed a vehicle which is fully integrated into the ecosystem, from the moment of its creation right through to the end of its service life. The Mercedes-Benz BIOME grows in a completely organic environment from seeds sown in a nursery. Out on the road the car emits pure oxygen, and at the end of its lifespan it can be simply composted or used as building material.

FORD F-150 WITH TORTURE-TESTED ECOBOOST ENGINE FINISHES 2010 TECATE SCORE BAJA 1000 IN 38 HOURS

DEARBORN, Mich., Nov. 20, 2010 – The 2011 Ford F-150 EcoBoost race truck with the torture-tested “hero” engine finished one of the most grueling desert endurance races in the world – the Tecate SCORE Baja 1000 – in 38 hours and 20 minutes, after 1,061 miles.

Nissan has announced the 2012 GT-R will be priced from $89,950 when it goes on sale in United States early next year.

As we have previously reported, the facelifted model features a new front bumper, a revised rear fascia, and 20-inch forged aluminum wheels. Inside, the cabin has been outfitted with higher quality materials and carbon fiber trim.
